The Fun Fourth Parade is July 4th in downtown Greensboro, beginning at 9:30am. The Parade route begins at Greene and Bellemeade, proceeds south on Greene, west on Washington, ending at Eugene St.
All interested organizations, bands and individuals are invited to put on their patriotic best and join the parade. There is no entry fee to participate in the Fun Fourth Parade, but each unit must submit a Parade Application.
Certificates are awarded for parade participants in the categories of Most Patriotic and Best in Parade.
The judges' stand is at Greene and Market.

- For the safety of spectators and parade participants, throwing candy or other items is not permitted under any circumstances. If participants would like to distribute candy or other giveaways, they are encouraged to walk along the side of the route and hand them to spectators.
- Scooter and motorcycle participants must wear helmets, properly fastened, in accordance with State law.
- "Squealing" of tires and "burnouts" are a safety hazard and never permitted.
- Golf Carts and Gators may be in the Parade, but as they are not registered vehicles, they may not drive on the streets outside of the Parade.
